Trainee Tax

The tax function of Scotch & Soda is centralised and based in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. We are looking for an enthusiastic trainee to assist our Tax manager for a period of 7 months for 3 days a week. As a Tax trainee, you will gain valuable work experience whilst supporting the international Tax manager in close collaboration with the finance and legal team. 

During your traineeship you will get a unique insight in the organization, the several business channels and the work of an in-house tax manager, by assisting with:

  • The preparation and roll-out of a Tax Control Framework
  • VAT transaction mapping
  • Enhance and maintain the transfer pricing files
  • Assist with day-to-day tax questions

Our ideal candidate:

  • Currently taking-up a Master’s in tax law or fiscal economics, recently graduated or in your last year of your Bachelor
  • Proactive, organized and accurate
  • Enthusiastic and a real team player
  • Strong communication skills fluent in Dutch and English
  • Driven to deliver results and exceed expectations
  • Available for 3 days a week, for a period of minimum 7 months
