Are you passionate about e-commerce and driven by data? We are looking for a dynamic E-commerce Buyer & Planner to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee product purchasing, inventory planning, and forecasting to ensure our stock levels are always optimized. Reporting directly to the Merchandising Controlling Director, you will collaborate with various teams to craft and optimize buying strategies that drive our business forward.

What you’ll do:

  • Product Purchasing & Inventory Planning: Manage purchasing, inventory levels, and forecasting to ensure optimal stock.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to guide buying decisions and financial planning.
  • Order Management: Oversee OTB (Open-to-Buy), place POs (Purchase Orders), and track product inventory levels.
  • Stock Alerts & Variants Management: Set up low stock alerts and manage product variants (e.g., sizes, colors).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the Merchandising and Buying team to define and execute a high-performing buying strategy.
  • System Coordination: Collaborate with IT/Operations to ensure systems meet analysis needs.
  • Bulk Production: Work with the Buying team on bulk production decisions.
  • Marketing Support: Provide e-commerce analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Reporting: Create and maintain reporting decks for data-driven decision making.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years' experience in buying, planning, or inventory management.
  • Proficiency in analyzing sales data and market trends.
  • Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and creating complex formulas.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights using PowerPoint.
  • Experience in managing inventory and setting up stock alerts.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans based on data analysis.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills with various teams (IT, Operations, Buying, Marketing).
  • Expertise in financial forecasting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the fashion industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to our Amsterdam office, and Hoofddorp HQ once a week for cross-functional collaboration
