Assistant Showroom Sales Associate

Responsibilities:

• Responding to emails by end of day whether there is a solution ready or not.
• May include opening/closing duties.
• Drive the administrative and support functions in the showroom as required.
• Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by the Sales Director.
• Assist with the prevention and resolution of customer issues.
• To ensure effective communication with sales, sales support team, and clients.
• Ensure all new and current products are on the showroom floor as needed seasonally.
• Managing, displaying, pricing, tagging and sales of all samples.
• Support showroom sales by escorting, assisting, and making clients comfortable while waiting for Sales Representative.
• To maintain good order and positive atmosphere according to company core values and ensure policies are adhered to.
• Assist with the placement of new products when they arrive.
• Assist at the regional trade shows in Toronto and Vancouver as needed.

Requirements:

• Inventive and resilient.
• Excellent telephone and email etiquette, professional attitude, and integrity.
• Ability to effectively manage their time, comfortable with multi-tasking.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Prior retail, showroom, or design firm experience.
• Excellent communication skills, as this position is in constant contact with customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, personable.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Fluent in French and English spoken and written.
