Business Controller - Ritchie
Ritchie has worked for Scotch & Soda for over eight years. He started as Retail Controller for the Netherlands, overseeing the opening of our first eight stores. He then headed to the US to help with the American rollout. Since then, he’s returned to the Netherlands to work on the implementation of AX, taken on the role of Cost Controller and has been our interim Accounts Payable Manager (looking after a team of 10 people) since April 2019.
“The time I spent in New York was fantastic on both a personal and professional level. I was 28 and all alone in a big city, which was an adventure. I was also the first finance person there, and all the processes needed to be created from scratch. I’ve really enjoyed being a part of the Scotch & Soda journey. When I started, there were about 100 people in the head office and now there are 320 in the Netherlands alone, with new offices in Germany, Stockholm and Paris. We’ve grown so much. There’s never a dull moment when you work for Scotch & Soda!”
